Maya has a unique shoulder style. The Maya shoulder has a "shoulder cap" which is made to be worn on the right shoulder. It can be worn on the left, but will need to be worn a different way or the sling can be re-threaded. This shoulder style does not limit arm movement as much as some other styles, but some people find other shoulder styles more comfortable.
